Die erste (engl.) Review ist draussen und damit auch gleich der erste Tiefschlag. GameRankings hat sage und schreibe eine Wertung von 30% gegeben:

Despite its faults I never said that Legends of Might and Magic wasn't fun. It is fun the same way pretty much all online shooters are fun. Its nice to play for a day or two for a change of pace, but in terms of gameplay quality it doesn't come near any anything else on the market. It plays like what it is, a poorly executed copy of Counterstrike, and if you go in with that in mind you won't be disappointed. However, I can't recommend buying it due to the numerous imbalances and poorly executed tactical gameplay. If you want team based combat go buy Half-Life and download CS. It'll cost you 1/4 as much and you'll have a lot more fun.

Harte Worte. Und eine wirklich viel zu schlechte Wertung. Selbst die Gamestar, die zu den kritischeren Printmagazinen in Deutschland gehört, gibt dem Spiel in der aktuellen Ausgabe 08/2001 eine 73%. Warten wir also mal die nächsten Reviews ab.
