Ich habe nur heut in einem Microsoft Forum gelesen, dass jedenfalls der alte Windows 7 Key nicht verfallen soll und man Windows 10 somit auch wieder deinstallieren kann und wieder sein altes Windows 7 benutzen kann. Deshalb kann ich mir gut vorstellen, dass Windows 10 an die Hardware gebunden ist. Oder man bekommt einen seperaten Key, aber diesbezüglich haben die soweit ich weiß auch noch nichts wirklich konkretes gesagt.
Bei den vorherigen Windowsversionen war es jedenfalls so, dass man sein Windows erneut aktivieren musste sobald eine Art Punktegrenze überschritten wird. Grafikkarten, Ram etc werden mit wenig Punkten angerechnet und Festplatten zum Beispiel schon mit mehreren. Villeicht hat man zumindest diese Toleranz dann auch noch bei Windows 10.

Und dennoch ist wohl auch möglich, Win10 alternativ statt drüberinstallieren auch komplett neuzuinstallieren, auch nach Ablauf des ersten Jahres:

MS will ja Geld verdienen mit ihrem Win 10.
Wiso kein Upgrade von Win XP aus? 11-12% der user/firmen
Und wiso erste nach einem Jahr.
Also wenn ich ein Upgrade von irgent was kaufe ist es die ersten Monaten billiger und nachher nicht mehr z.B. Partitions Manager Pro 14 auf 15 für 35 euro jetzt 57 euro.
War doch wie mit Win 8 ein paar Monate für 30 euro Upgrade, jetzt kostet dasselbe 90-130 euro.
Das würde ja heissen das alle mit ihrem gratis Upgrade nach einem Jahr tiefer in die Tasche greifen als wenn sie es sofort nach erscheinen des RTM Upgraden Bezahlen.
Also ich Upgrade den von der Win 7 Ultimate nach win 10 Pro sicher auch für 40-50 euro rum wo den die leute nach einem Jahr 180-200 euro Bezahlen.
Und ich habe es sicher länger als nur 1 Jahre meistens bis der Nachfolger kommt also so 3-4 jahre, Wo ja schon als Codename aufgetaucht ist "Win X1" Ob das jetzt 10.1 oder 11 ist weiss man ja noch nicht.
Keine Angst es wird auch ein Win 11,12,13,14,15 geben.
Weil dieses bezahlen pro Monat/Jahr geht mit Anwendungen sicher gut, Aber nicht mit einem Grundsystem, Firmen OKI aber der normal User wo den mal für ein Monat kein Geld hat und sein Grundsystem nicht mehr Funktioniert?
PS: Pluspunkt bei sofort Upgrade bezahlen kein Stress mit Hardware Ändrungen.

Was hat es jetzt eigentlich mit dem Gratis-Update auf sich?
Von einer Seite höre ich, Win7/8-Besitzer haben ein Jahr lang ab Erscheinen das Recht, kostenlos auf Win10 zu aktualisieren, solange die Hardware weitgehend unverändert bleibt.
Von anderer Seite höre ich, nach Ablauf des ersten Jahrs müsste man dann zahlen, um Win10 weiter nutzen zu können.

Was richtig ist und vermutlich Ursache für das Missverständnis, nach einem Jahr muss man für den ERWERB von Windows 10, sprich, wenn man den Upgrade Prozess verpasst hat, zahlen.
Und was, wenn man am 29.7. Win10 als Gratis-Update installiert und 6 Monate später seinen PC aufrüstet, z.B. neues Motherboard oder neue Festplatte? Kann man dann das Gratis-Update vergessen und muss sich ein neues Windows-Exemplar holen?
Ich hatte jetzt gerade am Wochenende bei mir eine neue Festplatte eingebaut und bei der Neuinstallation meldete Win7 mir, dass es sich nicht aktivieren konnte und ich die telefonische Aktivierung durchführen müsste (was dann auch klappte).
Ich plane nun aber, gegen Jahresende vermutlich noch mein Motherboard & Prozessor, evtl. zusammen mit Gehäuse und falls nötig RAM zu erneuern. Wäre es dann vielleicht sinnvoll mit dem Gratis-Update so lange zu warten?

Männer, das haben wir etwas weiter oben auf der Seite schon erörtert.
Ab dem 29-Jul-2015 kann man sein System ein Jahr kostenlos auf Win 10 upgraden. Nimmt man in dieser Zeit eine Veränderung seiner Hardware vor, dann ist das Upggrade in diesem Zeitraum immer noch kostenlos (Details siehe weiter oben).

Ich habe es schon sehr früh reserviert und bin aber wohl immernoch nicht dran. Kann nichtmehr warten.
Wie siehts bei euch aus?
Habt ihr einfach nur ein Update gemacht oder ne saubere Neuinstallation, lief alles sauber?
