1. Info

The version of the currently used Database (fate.db) is displayed here.




2. Races

All possible classes for the selected race are displayed inside the table. With a left-click on the column headers, the values can be sorted ascending or descending.


Table: Level-Index
The Level-Index has a range from 1 to 18 points. The lower the index, the lesser the amount of experience points a character needs to increase one level - but for the price of fewer HPs and MPs per level.

Attention: The most values for max. Attributes are not yet verified, meaning: they may be wrong.




3. Spells

Shortcuts:

MP: Magepoints
A: All (Universal)
P: Party
PM: Partymember
O: Opponent
OG: Opponent group
AO: All Opponents


Options:
* Spells: The spells of the selected class are displayed
* Classes: The order of spellclasses for the selected class are displayed.


Abilities:
The abilities which the selected class is able to get/learn is shown in the bottom righthand corner.

If two abilities are displayed, then this class is able to own both abilities - but inside the game only the last one is displayed.

If two abilities are displayed, which are seperated by a forward slash, then this class is only able to get the first one or the second one. It´s impossible to obtain both.

An ability enclosed in angle brackets means, that this class already owns this ability.




4. Equipment 1

Shortcuts:

WC: Weapon class
AC: Armor class
DC: Dexterity class
SC: Skill class


Inside the Weapon-/Armor tables you may left-click on the column headers, to sort the values ascending or descending.

The categories inside the Weapon-Combobox are, in case of Throwing- and Close-combat weapons, just a rough classification - because you may throw a Close-combat weapon and vice versa.

To get the effective range, you have to add 1 Yard. This means: a range of '0 yds' reaches up to 1 yard, a range of '2 yds' reaches up to 3 yards, and so on. Maybe i´ll change the display some day.

Attention: The most values for Armor-Classes(possible classes for equipping a specific weapon) are not yet verified, meaning: they may be wrong.




5. Equipment 2

Items:
Shortcuts: see "Spells"


Arrows:
The damage is calculated with: Arrow damage * Shot-power of the bow (min. and max.). Where the maximum shot-power of a bow is only achieved by a trained/professional archer. The damage may be increased by Attributes / Spells - but this is just assumed.

With a left-click on the column headers, the values can be sorted ascending or descending.

Attention: The values for Arrow-Damage are not yet verified, meaning: they may be wrong.




6. Buildings


Because of the fact that the buildings are locally bound, it made no sense to create a sorting function for 'Price niveau', or others.




7. Maps

The Colors:

Inside Cities and Dungeons:

Orange: Common Door
Yellow: Magical Door
Orange|Black: Common Door (One-sided)
Yellow|Black: Magical Door (One-sided)
Blue|Black: Wall (One-sided)

In the Wilderness:
White: Finding place
Yellow: Information


The SwitchItems
A "SwitchItem" is an item which has 2 locations. If you pick up such an item from the one location, it vanishes from the second one - just like a switch: eather it´s on position 1 or on position 2. There are 3 "SwitchItems" inside the game:

1. "Valor": Catacombs Lvl.7; Positions: 33:17 and 37:35
2. Jabbaglove: Islands; Positions: 603:182 and 477:223
3. Starwand: Islands; Positions: 494:196 and 462:131


Clipboard
With a click on the button "Clipboard", the currently displayed map gets copied into the Clipboard. From there you may paste it into a graphics program for example.




8. Cavetrain

The Train schedule
Unfortunately, there is no static departure time - so that it´s merely some sort of travel time calculator. An example: You are in Larvin and want to know if there is enough time to arrive in Cassida at "Happy Hour", then you may calculate the arrival-time here.




9. Password-Nymph

Stone Guardian
Before you start to answer his questions, you should save the game (a "Save State" will do so). Because the questions are sometimes ambiguously verbalized and a wrong answer is given fast.




10. Level-Calculator

It´s not an error if the table-content doesn´t change after a click on the button "Show". Because there are only 18 different Level-Indexes, and so only 18 different table-contents.




11. Texts

Clipboard
With a click on the button "Clipboard", the currently displayed text gets copied into the Clipboard. From there you may paste it into a wordprocessing program for example.




11. Options

Uninstall
At this, only the folder "FateMaster" is removed from the user-directory. If this program is restarted after uninstalling, that folder is created again.
