Der Fehler tritt aber wie gesagt nur sporadisch auf. Ich habe auch schonmal ne Stunde gespielt und nichts ist passiert und ein anderes Mal ist das Spiel gleich beim ersten Kampf abgestürzt. Der Absturz tritt wie gesagt ausschließlich in Kämpfen auf und daher kann es nicht an der Soundeinstellung liegen. Denn Sound gibt es überall im Spiel.
Ein Vergleich der Dosbox Einstellungen wäre vielleicht hilfreich, hier meine:

Danke Lukas daß du dir die Mühe gemacht hast deine gesamten DOSBOX Einstellungen zu posten!

Leider ohne Erfolg. Hab die Einstellungen übernommen aber länger als 2 bis 3 Minuten kann ich nicht spielen!

Was komisch ist, ich habe vor etwa 2 Jahren auch einen Versuch mit der Bestseller-Ausgabe gestartet, da trat der Fehler extrem selten auf! Da konnte ich auch etliche Stunden spielen und hatte mit etwas Glück keine Probleme!

Nur jetzt sind mehr als 5 min nicht mehr drin!

Ich habe ja vermutet das es mit der Geschwindigkeit des Systems zu tun hat aber das ist auch unwahrscheinlich! Auch die Cycles in Dosbox haben keinen Einfluß! Hab ich alles schon probiert!

Ich frag mich nur was zur Hölle damals anders war als der Fehler nur selten auftrat! Am Spiel kann es nicht liegen!

Ich spiele jetzt übrigens mittlerweile die englische Version nur das Problem lässt mich nicht in Ruhe! Ich will unbedingt herausfinden warum bei einigen Spieler das Problem nur sporadisch und bei mir zurzeit alle paar Minuten auftritt!

Ich weiß, das hilft dir nicht weiter, aber ich hatte weder mit der englischen noch mit der deutschen Version jemals einen Absturz bei M&M3. Weder vor 20 Jahren unter DOS noch vor einem Jahr mit DOS-BOX.

Es könnte ihm helfen, wenn du deine DosBox Kpnfiguration preis gibst und uns verrätst welche Version von MM3 du nutzt. ;)

Vor 20 Jahren war es die englische 3,5"-Diskettenversion für DOS. Danach die englische CD-Version aus dem 6-Pack. Und zuletzt die deutsche CD-Version von der Bestseller Games.

Sehr interessant, unsere beiden Konfigurationen weichen sehr stark voneinander ab und bei dir sind Einträge die ich garnicht habe, wie vmemsize oder pixelshader. Hast du die per Hand hinzugefügt?
Ansonsten könnte man es mal testen, indem man die gesamte Konfiguration kopiert. Bei mir bringt das nichts, da das Spiel bei mir nicht immer abstürzt und ich somit kein sicheres Ergebnis liefern kann, aber vielleicht meldet sich LonesomeWarrior nochmal um es auszuprobieren. :)

Die DOSBox-Version, welche ich nutze, ist ein SVN-Build, welcher auf DOSBox 0.74 aufsetzt. Genau genommen handelt es sich hierbei um den von ykhwong. Diese Version habe ich vor einem Jahr auf meine Bedürfnisse konfiguriert. Entsprechend alt ist somit auch meine gepostete Config.

Hallo!

Mein Problem hat sich mehr oder weniger von selbst gelöst! Eigenartigerweise trat das Problem nach einer gewissen Zeit fast gar nicht mehr oder zumindest sehr selten auf!

So circa nach 2 Std Spielzeit und Level 8 bis 10!

Vorher wars jedoch die Hölle! Alle 1 bis 2 Minuten war Schluß! Keine Ahnung warum das nur zu Anfang des Spiels war aber mittlerweile bin ich fast durch und kann es gut spielen!

Danke vielmals für eure Bemühungen!!!
