Summary of German Threads
Please don`t post new or old Ideas in this Thread. The intention of this thread is, that Fabrice could read our ideas. So, only people who translate our german threads should post here.

I was asked from a friend to sum it up again. I´ll do my best. Question and answer is not my game. I sum it up and hope you´ll like it.
Cities and monsters
-Like in Heroes 3 a size of 9 Cities would be fine . So I have much to choose (monsters, city-types etc…)
-Monster upgrades (like in Heroes 3) should be possible in Heroes 5
-Monsters intelligence should be better
-it would be nice if Creatures would have special abilities / moves
-it muste be possible to upgrade Creature dwellings (in cities as on map)
-Cities must have more options / features
-the connection of Inferno and Nekro to one city was very bad in my opinion , these two city types should be divided as in Heroes 3
-Thunderbirds should have more hitpoints
-Vampires are to strong , wraiths are to weak
-Minotaurs are to slow and to weak
-Thre should be a ressource for food, if the resource is emty the troups will desert
-a diplomacy option / menu could be needfull (Contracts with KI , tribute payments, etc…)
-it would be nice if Creatures could use alchemy, scrolls and artifacts
If I forgot something and / or made mistakes please notice me. Hope it`s right that I post it here.

Due to I have a bad flu again and can´t sleep I use my time to translate another Thread / Chapter.
Combatsystem / Combatscreen
-what about Realtime fights and movements ? (switchable)
-I would pefer an Iso 2D Perspective / View
-a Combatschreen which is suitable to the amount of Enemys /
Creatures
-Magicians should be act first, like in Heroes 3, no matter if its their
turn or not
-Spells should affect Creatures , Enemies etc only temporal, not

Hello !
I am posting the next translated Thread.
Night and Day
- Night and Day . Maybe with two turns at one day . The Movementpoints should be for one hole day. They should not be refreshed at night. Every Player have to take a decision. (Move my Hero and his army at day or at night...Or half / half... )
- At Day the troops can see more. At Night is the sight reduced. Artifacts can improve the visibility. (maybe a magic torch , a frozen lightning or something like that)
- Dead creatures and Heroes are more effectiv at night. They should see more and should fight stronger. In return they are weakly at Daylight.
- At Night Heroes should build a camp for the night. This improve the defense at night and should improve the sight. The Hero can´t move then. It cost some Movementpoints.
- At Night citys can´t construct building.
- Season that change. With changing Landscapes. Trees lost their foliage , snow covers the landscape , flowers are blooming and so on.
- The weather should have influence on the movement and sight rate. In mudd (after a long period of raining days you can´t move so good) Fog reducing the visibility.
- The Terrain should give a bonus to some special unites / creatures. For example : Dendroidsoldiers are fighting more effectiv in a forrest , then in a dessert. In an editor the user should configure this terrain bonus in every option whitch he want.

The next small , but important Thread...
Dragons and Giants
- Players want more Dragons , like in Heroes 3.
- Players want the bone/ghost Dragon back !
- But not all of them should be recruitable in Citys.
- Maybe like the Rust or the AzureDragons in Heroes 3 SOD they should live in
several creature dwellings.
- Players want more giants. ( I mean real giants. They should look very tall and should impress all Players. )

It´s me again.
Artifacts
- Players want a huge collection of artifacts . Some artifacts should increase the Hero and his army ( boots of speed or a mighty sword , for example ), other should increase your kingdom ( endless bag of gold , arms of legion , for example ). Some players have the opinion that artifacts in Heroes 3 were better than in Heroes 4.
- Players want more room to use the artifacts. I mean more stacks to activate artifacts. A Hero should have more stacks to carry artifacts.
- Players want more artifacts in combination. That means that you can improve an armor with a cape and the result is a mighty armor , for example. Maybe you need a special blacksmith to do that . That would give an impulse to search more for artifacts. The Blacksmith should not be into a city.

-3D is more authentic than 2D
- please make the Grafic more realistic and mythical, I don´t like the poor Grafic in Heroes 4 that much
-In some areas (seas) there should be clouds, fog and rain
-desert should look dry and horrible dead
-in Winter there should be Snow like in Wake of Gods
-you should remind the season with their effects
-the fog of war should be black in the underground dungeons, not a little bit of grey with a couple of mines to light up the underground

campaigns.
- Players want a copy & paste function to create easyer new maps.
- Players want an option to create easy scripts. That would make it
possible to tell more stories and to create more quests.
- The Editor should have an option to create maps for every
published AddOn for Heroes 5.
- Players want an option to deactivate some creatures for random
creatures. That would make it easyer to tell stories without some
creatures. (for example you could
create easily a map without undead creatures)
- more comfort to create the landscape is another wish from
different players.

So... That was the threat about our ideas to an editor. Maybe its not so important like the other threats at this time. But... Take a look ! With an excellent editor Heroes 5 will be much more longer living... The fans want it...

So... That was the threat about our ideas to an editor. Maybe its not so important like the other threats at this time. But... Take a look ! With an excellent editor Heroes 5 will be much more longer living... The fans want it...

-there should be a fog of war, but...
-...you should be able to turn it off
-you should get for example only 75% of your score, when you turned it off
-you should be able to turn your creatures into scouts

, but a few think were missing ; Hope you won´t mind if I add them now 
- fog of war has a kind of educatiional effect, you can.t lave your Castle alone for long
-the fog of war has become a bit small in size and effect in Homm4 , it was nice if someone could expand him
-the fog of war dont makes me fun I hate suprises and amushes , it would be better if i could switch it on / off
-in my opinion fog of war spoils the hole athmosphere of the game
-I can´t beleave it , you complain about bad KI and fog of war on the other . Does that make sense ? I like the fog of war much, you have to think and plan more, without fog of war it soon besomes boring,
-if there are rougues in Homm4 that could sneak very good , speak heroes, that are nearly invisible for eye and enemy a fog of war is more than necesary

Hi at all,
I found the Features from Heroes 3 WoG very good!
- more Kreatures
- build very strong Level 8 Kreatures
- Animation of the Forest, Raining usw.
- i can in the Army of the Heroes a seperatly Comander update
- the Adventurefeature in WoG are very intresting
The Heroes 5 Game i hope that the Editor very easy is and a Paste and Copy Funktion has and many other Funktion has

Let´s sum up another one 
What I like to have in Homm 5
-a multiplayer mode wehre I can play campaigns
-more XXL maps
-the ability to destroy and build up castles as in WoG
-the ability to destroy and build up (enemy) mines
-I´d like to have a Good KI
-I´d like to change Heroes / Players Name
-the grafik could be much better in Homm 5
-the phoenix in Homm 4 looks like a chicken, please fix that
-less or no bugs in Homm5
-a converter that I can use all Homm maps in one game (old and new)
-a manual mad out of paper
-better map editor
-how about an option to build / destroy bridges

The Quality of the KI lowers kumulativly with the growing oportunities:
- of Heroes development / skilling
-of Creature Dwellings
-of mines
-buildings
-etc..
The Symplicy of the Game ( or to keep it simple) is the key for success and a better KI in my opinion.

MUSIC
Please return back to the phantastic opera-themes from "Heroes 2 - The Sucession Wars". All the themes there were great (especially the "Fighter theme" with the crusaders and archers was phantastic. what a wonderfull female vocal!!) !!!!
Also the introducing melody was so beautiful and fits very well to the medieval part of the game.
Please go back to those roots and give us back the opera samples and music!!!!!!
