Kirsten: Please tell me more about those neutral heroes... can they join the forces of a player? Will they conquer towns on their own? Do they have armies with them and do they collect artifacts?

Kate: Neutral heroes will be treated very similarly to wandering monsters, excpet they have the properties of a hero. They can either patrol an area or wander about wreaking havoc. They will not pick up objects on the map, but will harass you sufficiently.
