Auf der US-Mag Gamespot sind zwei sehr interessante Artikel zu Heroes IV online gestellt worden.

Zum ersten wäre da eine Preview, die im Rahmen eines Berichtes über Rundenbasierte Strategiegames des Jahres 2002, veröffentlicht wurde.

From what we've seen, Heroes IV will be extremely bright and colorful, much more so than any previous game. And its maps will be jam-packed with monsters to fight, treasures to loot, and side quests to perform. In addition to its whopping six campaign games, Heroes IV will feature lots of extra scenarios, as well as a full map editor that will not only let you make your own custom scenario maps, but also make full-blown campaigns by connecting your own scenarios in any way you wish.

Das ist zwar alles nichts neues, aber der positive Klang zwischen den Zeilen ist nicht zu überhören.

Daneben wurde ein Interview mit dem Executive Producer Jeff Blattner veröffentlicht. Die für mich wichtigste Aussage aus dem Interview:

The team is working almost exclusively on game balance and bug fixes.

Man befindet sich also im letzten Teil der Programmentwicklung, womit die geplante Veröffentlichung Ende März immer realistischer wird. Aber lest selber, das Interview ist sehr interessant.
