Es geht Schlag auf Schlag: der nächste Test stammt von Gamespy, die sehr objektiv an das Game herangegangen sind und 69 von 100 möglichen Punkten vergeben haben:

Legends of Might and Magic isn't a terrible game, but it's certainly not a very good one, either. It lacks a lot of key features that people expect from a multiplayer shooter. However, it does have the potential to grow if 3DO and New World put forth the effort to make it work. A fantasy-based team game is not a bad idea, and Legends is on the cusp of being a fun game, but the lack of editing capability and the omission of offline bots severely limit its replay value.

Dieser Kommentar trifft meines Erachtens den Nagel auf den Kopf. Legends of Might & Magic ist wirklich kein schlechtes Spiel, aber es fehlt das gewisse Etwas und / oder die notwendige Innovation, um ein bessere Wertung zu bekommen. 69 Punkte finde ich aber doch etwas zu wenig.
