Am Wochenende sind zwei weitere Reviews zu Might & Magic 9 erschienen, die beide das Game mit 65% bewertet haben.

Die erste Site ist Gamezone.com, die in ihrer Wertung vor allem das "unausgereifte" Game kritisiert:

I don't want to beat a dead horse here so let me just say that it is really a shame that the game was allowed to be released before it was tweaked sufficiently. Unfortunately, these are major problems that greatly affect the gameplay and game players. Let's hope for a good patch to be released very, very soon.

Auch ToTheGame ist nicht unkritisch, wie nachfolgender Textasuzug zeigt:

I’ve enjoyed Might & Magic IX, honestly. But I’m left with a feeling that this could have been done a lot better. I had a blast playing it, and I’ve blasted a lot of monsters. If you are reading this, I suggest you click on our game info link to see other reviews, and check out other info available here. I have no problems recommend this game, but remember this is my personal meaning. I’m also afraid this could be the last pure M&M game. If so, damn!

Für die Fans der Reihe werden diese Reviews sicherlich keinen Grund liefern, sich das Game nicht anzuschaffen. Ob sich aber neue Fans damit finden lassen ....
